Our Common Adversary

There are two different worlds that interact with man, the spirit realm and the earth we live on. Both are affected by our choices. In the beginning all was good in the heavenlies, all was good on earth, but an adversary, that threatened the peace of both, rose up to come against God and all that He created. Angels chose sides, and were pitted against one another in heaven. As disharmony was introduced to earth, beast came against beast, man against man etc. The peace and complete harmony that once existed between both realms was disrupted by this common adversary, by this lawless rebel, Satan!

I say lawless, because he broke the spiritual laws of God that were set in place for our wellbeing. Peace and joy, the harmonious existence of the two realms, was assaulted. The relationship enjoyed by the Creator with His creation was corrupted, tainted, ruined and in many cases totally destroyed. I refer to the adversary as a rebel, because he set out to change the very nature, thinking and appearance of all creation, especially that of earth and its inhabitants, to that of his own likeness.

You see, when the Creator looked with satisfaction on all he had made, it was a mirror of His nature, His knowledge, and everything created displayed the many facets of His own being. For instance, the vibrant color and beauty of the garden the Lord planted as a home for the first human pair was meant to be an example of how the whole earth was to be cultivated as they grew in number. The first man Adam, and his wife Eve, were created absolutely perfect, in God's image, and were meant to see, know and experience only good. They were to rule all things pertaining to earth through a loving nature based on the perfect knowledge they had access to through the Tree of Life. In contrast to the world today, everything was not only beautiful, but full of happiness and security, all was in one accord. Life was good and never-ending. All was eternal, a paradise where the Heavenly Father visited His little family daily.

Hard to imagine for us today. Seems too good to be true, but that was the way life was in God's Kingdom, that is until Eve chose Satan's knowledge over God's and shared it with Adam. This is why we were taught to pray, "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done". We want and need the Lord's Kingdom to be brought back to earth. We want His knowledge and spiritual laws to be re-established that once protected and made our lives secure and abundantly blessed. We want everything as it was in the beginning!

Through the earthly walk Jesus made as a man, His death paid the wages of sin for all humanity and His resurrection guarantees victory for all that love Him. Man can now make an individual decision to counter the wrong choice Adam and Eve made. We can now choose the Tree of Life, His lifestyle and develop a nature that is in His image once more. As the desire for God's Kingdom to rule begins to grow in our hearts and minds, we will reflect evidence of the Kingdom's influence on us through our actions even in the midst of this dying world. Those that make the choice for the Tree of Life bring the hope that is within them to those in despair and in need of change.

Present truth is released for this age to those that love Him, and they are in turn commissioned to broadcast this knowledge across the earth as a light to guide the way for others. You see, God's covenants, His promises and plans for the restoration of this planet and the heavenlies, will be fulfilled resulting in the establishment of a new heaven and new earth. Promises of renewal and eternal life are there for those that choose Him. Satan, on the other hand, comes to kill creation. He desperately wants dominion of this planet for himself as well as for the descendants of the fallen angels that chose sides with him to rebel against God. Most people have totally forgotten that the earth belongs to us, or that there is a supernatural realm, and so do not know to resist him. In fact, there are many people that do not know Satan and his followers even exist!

Notice it said our fight is not with flesh and blood, yet we see in the news daily, man killing man. In the very beginning, had the wrong choice not been made by Eve to eat knowledge from the Tree of Good and Evil, their own sons would not have had the nature or thinking that resulted in the death of Abel, their firstborn child. The descendants of Adam and Eve would not be killing each other today in the name of religion, or fighting over the rights to earth's resources if the wrong source of knowledge had not been chosen.

Satan's prideful nature and appetite for power becomes more and more apparent through the cruelty of man as he is assimilated into Satan's lifestyle, culture and morals. Even today's youth are demonstrating Satan's nature to kill, steal and destroy. Through fallen man he has robbed us of our planet, stolen our peace and wellbeing, developed a culture detrimental to the health of all earth's inhabitants, and yet cleverly allows us to think we are in control of our own destiny. He has brought corruption, decay and death to all of creation and convinced us it is the natural cycle of things!

In reality it is Satan that brings sickness, calamities, etc. to earth, and as the prince of the air, he destroys through hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and other so-called acts of God. As a result of our wrong thinking, passed down through the generations to us today, we wrongly blame Him for these things. Many people are personally at odds with the Lord, because they blame God for the death of a loved one, or some other horrible calamity Satan has inflicted on them. As I said before, they are unaware of the plots, plans and evil intent of Satan concerning God and His creation. They are bitter, angry people in the palm of Satan's hand and unfortunately, the kind he uses to build and control the world. Even the world's churches are built by them, resulting in big business for Satan's kingdom. Ownership of the earth's resources are claimed by those in Satan's control. Even their educational institutions reflect the enemy's intellect and evil nature as well. Satan's plans have been executed very well by man since the garden.

The good news is, God has a plan also that He has been waiting on man to carry out. Jesus conquered the enemy in the supernatural, put them to open shame and is now raising up a people that are desperately wanting His Kingdom to come and His will to be done, on earth. Knowledge concerning these last days is being revealed, spread across the planet, and those with ears to hear and eyes to see are being introduced to the plans of God and learning about His covenant promises. They are finding out the ownership and deed to this planet was given to us by the Creator, and that the earth's resources belong to God's family. Even eternity is offered back to man if he chooses Christ's leadership and willingly fulfills God's plan.

Man, through their ignorance of the fullness of what Christ really accomplished by His walk on earth, are frightened by the failing economy and crumbling world. Through spiritual deafness they are ignorant of God's love for all creation and ignorant as well of how He intends to set free those the enemy has under his control, and therefore remain easy targets for Satan to use. Through spiritual blindness they are ignorant of the plans of God in general, they are bound in hopelessness and lash out with the nature of Satan. We see evidence of this everywhere. They are mad at God, mad at each other, just plain confused, frustrated, lawless and without love. Just think, all of this because of Adam's wrong choice of knowledge. God said through Isaiah, "My people die for a lack of knowledge, I reject them, because they reject Me."

But things are changing rapidly. Just as Jesus opened the understanding of his disciples, so He is opening the eyes of our spirits today when we choose Him. He is freeing deaf ears to hear what He is saying to the church. The walk of those who have chosen knowledge from the Tree of Life, is becoming more and more apparent. They are rising up and assembling as one. With the language of Truth on their lips, a vision of the Kingdom in their hearts, and a mission to testify against their common adversary, they will reclaim what is theirs as the body of Christ. They are people born through the resurrection of Christ and are as leaves from the Tree of Life that will heal the nations that choose to come to this knowledge. They are even now bombarding the heavenlies with prayer and praise, standing in the gap for humanity and in fact all creation, to set them free of their adversary.

For instance, as the weather patterns are being changed by evil men in subjection to Satan, and the elements used as weapons to destroy creation, God's family has the knowledge to know where it originates from and can truthfully testify against the prince of the air to the great Judge. Where there is so much hatred and anger in the hearts of humanity, resulting in war, poverty, sickness and death, these are eye witnesses to the fruit of Satan's rule on earth and are crying out to God for a change of Kings. They know Jesus will rule heaven and earth in perfection through His body and the original peace and harmony will return to both realms. It will happen, because it is the promise and plan of God, and He is sovereign! Humanity is at last waking up from spiritual death, choosing the knowledge of Christ and teaching others.
